About
Experience From Ohio, Building Something New in Alabama
I’m Leighton Brunk
And I’ve built my career running equipment in logging and excavation work, where understanding soil, slope, and water matters more than paperwork. After relocating from Ohio to coastal Alabama, I started Landworx to run jobs hands-on – you work directly with me, not a rotating crew.
Excavation and Trucking Under One Operation
Landworx was built around a simple model: excavation and hauling handled by the same crew. With trucking in-house and me on every job site, projects move on one schedule, with clear accountability from start to finish. The company stays intentionally small to keep quality and decision-making tight.
Mission & Values
Why Landworx Exists
Landworx was built to keep excavation and hauling on one schedule. Too often, projects stall when digging and trucking are split between different companies and no one owns the outcome. By handling both under one operation, work moves forward without delays or finger-pointing.
We focus on site prep, septic, grading, and land clearing – the groundwork that has to be done right before anything else can happen.
Small Crew, Direct Work
We keep the crew small so the people doing the work actually know the job. No handoffs. No showing up blind to what was estimated or discussed.
Owner Runs the Job
Leighton handles the estimate and stays on the equipment. Decisions get made on site, in real time, without phone chains or delays.
One Schedule, One Operation
Excavation and hauling are handled by the same crew. Materials arrive when the work is ready for them, so jobs don’t stall waiting on outside trucks.
